The main role in the activation of fi broblasts and their production of collagen I type in the myomatous node plays TGFbeta1, TGFbet2 and TGFbeta3. The higher level of synthesis and production of TGFbeta1 isoform in the nodes with large amount of collagen I type allow to suggest the leading role of this cytokine in the regulation of the intensity of fi brosis in the leiomyoma tissue.</p>uterineleiomyomaTGFbetaTGFBRcollagenлейомиома маткиTGFβTGFBRколлаген[1.
