It has been established that PSG predominantly suppresses the production of Th1-cytokines (IFN-γ, TNF-α, IL-2) by the types of cells studied, and it regulates the production of Th2-cytokines in different directions, decreasing the production of IL-9, IL-13, IL-6, but increasing the level of IL-5.
