The subject of the study was the peripheral blood of patients with sepsis. An increase in the total number of leukocytes, neutrophil extracellular traps and the activity of intracellular oxygen-dependent neutrophil metabolism in deceased patients as compared with the group of live cells was revealed.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Проведен сравнительный анализ функциональной активности нейтрофилов периферической крови у больных с сепсисом в зависимости от исхода на последние сутки. Объектом исследования послужила периферическая кровь пациентов с сепсисом.
