MECHANISMS OF FORMATION OF BRONCHIAL OBSTRUCTION IN CHILDREN OF PRESСHOOL AGE

Abstract

Investigated the indices of some cytokines and chemokines in peripheral blood serum (IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, IFN-α, IFN-β, IFN-γ, TFN-α, MCP-1, RANTES, MIP-1α, MIP-1β) in children with acute bronchitis. When evaluating concentrations of cytokines in peripheral blood serum of the patients with acute bronchitis in general (n = 87 people) we revealed significantly higher levels of IL-8, IFN-β, MCP-1, RANTES, MIP-1α, MIP-1β, as compared to control group. It was established that MIP-1α и MIP-1β concentration in the group of children with acute simple bronchitis is twice as high as in children with acute obstructive bronchitis. Immunological markers of acute obstructive bronchitis are lower serum concentrations of MIP-1α and MIP-1β, with high IL-10 values, which confirms the significance of the Th2 pathway in the pathogenesis of bronchial obstruction.
