Abstract

Chronic productive inflammation causes the development of general regenerative response, in which mast cells are directly involved. Staging of their reaction is consistent with the classical inflammation development pattern. The processes of mediators’ accumulation and the replenishment of the mast cell tissue pool replace the initial secretion activation.
