Abstract

Acute inflammatory begins to activate of M1-macrophage by classical pathway. In the chronic form of the disease, the body triggers an adaptive alternative pathway to activate of M2-macrophages. For example, the number of intestinal M2-macrophages increases in infl ammatory bowel disease (IBD) of a chronic form. We have got a model of mice that do not have mature lymphocytes and these animals development of IBD due to the absence of a intestinal mucosal barrier. We obtained a good model that reveals the role of macrophages and lymphocytes in the development of IBD, and can also be used to understand the effect of pharmacological drugs that cause polarization of macrophages.
