Abstract
The effect of cold stress on the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and IFN-γ and IL-12 was studied 6 hours after the end of stress. It was established that acute cold stress (–20 °C for 60 min) led to increased spontaneous and zymosan-stimulated production of ROS by mouse peritoneal cavity cells 6 hours after the end of stress exposure. In similar experimental conditions, the levels of interferon-γ in spontaneous splenocytes mice increased, while in stimulated mice decreased.
