Abstract
Melanoma is the most dangerous skin cancer. It’s characterized by rapid growth rates and high incidences of metastasis. Melanoma cells have tumor antigens on their surfaces. Thereby, it’s possible to create an eff ective vaccine against melanoma. Earlier in the Federal Budgetary Research Institution State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology «Vector» DNA-constructs, encoding artifi cial polyepitope immunogens MEL-A0201 and MEL-TCI, that consist of cytotoxic and helper T-cell epitope form six melanoma antigens, were created. This article includes the results of evaluation of the capability of designed DNA-constructs to induce antitumor immune response.
