Abstract
The study evaluated the state of innate immunity in young women with abdominal obesity and overweight. In women with isolated abdominal obesity the activation of neutrophil function was observed. During the progression of obesity in young women the decreasing of parameters of phagocytosis was revealed. It was associated with increased volume of abdominal fat tissue and disorders of lipid and carbohydrate metabolism.
