Abstract

It has been established that during HIV/HCV coinfection a naive СD4+ T-cell deficiency and a disruption of the cell transition between the two subsets: СD4+ recent thymic migrants and the mature СD4+ naive T cells, is developed. In HIV/HCV coinfection, unlike HIV monoinfection, the dependence of homeostatic proliferation on T-cell count is disturbed.
