Abstract
The role of endogenous melatonin in the regulation of the process of regulatory T cells (Treg) differentiation during the gestation period has been studied. The difference in the regulation of this process by the hormone was shown in non-pregnant and pregnant women. The positive effect of melatonin on the cells in vitro mediated by signals from membrane receptors for the hormone in response to polyclonal activation was revealed at pregnancy.
