Abstract

Was shown increase in the concentrations of cytokines and growth factors (IL-4, IL-6, IL-8, IL-17, TGF-β -1, 2, 3, macrophage infl ammatory protein – 1beta) in the intraocular fluid of patients withdevelopedstage of the primary open-angle glaucoma. This indicates that in the pathogenesis of primary open-angle glaucoma, the activity of the local chronic inflammatory process is determined.
