Abstract
On the alloxan diabetes model in rats, it was shown that exposure to monocytes / macrophages with an aminophthalhydroside derived drug leads to a decrease in monocyte infiltration and IL-1a in the pancreas. That promotes the preservation of insulin-producing cells and increases their synthetic activity.
