Abstract
The study investigated the relationship between the concentration of 25-OH vitamin D, food hypersensitivity and the level of pro-inflammatory cytokines in children with ASD. An inversecorrelation was found between the concentration of vitamin D and specific IgG (sIgG) to food antigens of dairy and grain products, concentration of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL17, IFNγ). Thus, deficiency of vitamin D is associated with indicators of immune inflammation and the mechanisms of food tolerance in children with ASD.
